The CLP that met today under the leader of Chandrakant Kavlekar observed that none of the promises made by the Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and his Ministers have been fulfilled till date.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Kavlekar said that CLP members have decided to give one month time to government to fulfil the assurances. “we admit that there was election code due to by-polls and that is the only excuse government can give,” he said.

Congress leader said that even in the Tenancy matter, there is no clarity as what is the fate of those tenants who lost the legal battle in the civil court. “It is injustice to those people. Government will have to take some stand on it,” he said.
The issues like IPB, increasing crime like murders and theft, scams in properties of Goa Tourism Development Corporation, casino policy, mid-day meal, communidade, education, were the topics that witnessed heated debate in the State Assembly.
