Panaji  (Goa) The exam stressed students can heave a sigh of relief as the Directorate of Education has asked the schools not to hurry up with completing the portion, in the wake of upcoming under-17 FIFA world cup match in October.
“The Heads of Institutions shall not hurriedly complete the portion by taking extra periods and over burden the students. As per the earlier schedule, the portion covered before the day of the examination will be part of 1st Terminal examination/summative examination,” education director said in a circular issued this evening.
This comes over two months after the department had asked the schools to reschedule the 1st terminal examination on or before October 7 so that students are able to enjoy the lifetime opportunity of witnessing some of the matches that will be played at Fatorda stadium.
