Panaji (Goa) Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17 will be celebrated as ‘Sewa Divas’ by BJP Goa unit.

BJP across country will be celebrating the birthday of Prime Minister as Sewa Divas and as such saffron party in Goa too will participate in the celebration.

Speaking to reporters, BJP state general secretary Damodar Naik said that BJP leaders will be participating in cleanliness drive across all 40 assembly constituencies and organise medical camps.

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will also be participating in the event.

The day will be also celebrated by distributing sweets and other items in old age homes, orphanages and to needy people.

“We will be organizing cleanliness drive at schools, hospitals, bus stops, gardens and statues in their respective areas,” he said.
