Margao (Goa) In a rare gesture that can make Goa proud, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tweeted the essay written by Ravisha Kudchadkar from Fatima Convent High School, Margao.

The essay is on Swach Bharat and the ninth standard girl has given several suggestions in her two page essay which was sent to Delhi as a part of PM’s birthday celebrations.

“In her prize winning essay, Ravisha from Goa writes about what should be done for a @swachhbharat. I compliment her for her work,” PM tweeted today.

The girl in her essay titled “How Can I make India Clean” has suggested that everyone should keep at least 10 metres of the surrounding around their homes clean so that the cities and villages will become ‘swach’.

She has also said that the ‘cleanliness should be made as our religion.’

Giving advice to the government, she has said “government must make sure that there are dust bins at suitable places.”

“Only with widespread participation and commitment will the dream of Swach Bharat be realized,” she said.

Making an emotional plea she has said “not just October 2 but everyday should be Gandhi Jayanti.”
