Panaji (Goa) The day saw worst ever rumour mongering with the social media groups announcing the death of renowned singer Remo Fernandes. The messages seeking confirmation about his death made the rounds. Finally the singer who is currently in Porto replied to all the questions claiming that he is RIP ‘Rocking in Porto’

“ I have been offering myself condolences ever since I was first informed about my sad demise last evening. But something made me suspect it was fake news,” the musician with international repute said in his facebook post which is titled Remo Fernandes RIP (Rocking In Porto).

“When I woke feeling reasonably hungry this morning I decided I was right. Thanks very much for all your concern, for messages asking straightaway Are you Alive? (I loved those, someday I will answer No) to the people who never message me otherwise tentatively asking “Hey buddy, how are you?,” the padmashree awardee said in his FB post which has his picture morphed as zombie.

“I will miss reading your lovely eulogies – if any – this time. But hey, like the man said, no one gets out of here alive,” the singer said.
