Panaji (Goa) Goa Congress has urged Government to review the security mechanism of the State, especially along the coastal belts following mass shooting in US that took place on Sunday, last week killing 59 people.

Speaking to reporters, Congress state president Shantaram Naik said that government needs to review the security measures throughout the State, especially along the coastal belts in the wake of tourism season now.

“I pray that never happens but there is a feeling that State is not secured enough to protect its people from any terrorist attack,” he claimed.

Naik said that Government should intervene and check the security measures in place at casinos to ensure safety of the people visiting these places.
