Panaji (Goa) BJP corporator Sheetal Naik is appointed as the chairman of the Bal Bhavan.

The State Education department today reconstituted the Bal Bhavan Board, with Naik as its chairman. The tenure of the new Board will be in place for three years.

Naik is wife of BJP’s party worker Dattaprasad. She has been Corporators for last two terms.

The other members of the Board includes Secretary Education, Director Education, Representatives from the department of Art and Culture, Sports and Health. Under Secretary Finance is also member of the Board.

As per the order, the Board has to meet at least three times in a year.
