Panaji  (Goa): After serving a long tenure at Goa Human Rights Commission on deputation, senior police officer Kiran Podwal has been posted as the sub-divisional police officer of Porvorim while two deputy superintendents of police who were awaiting fresh posting after promotion have been given the mining talukas.

Out of the 10, DySPs transferred today, while Podwal has finally been given the charge of a subdivision, Gurudas Gawade and Uttam Desai are posted as SDPOs of Bicholim and Quepem. Gawade will be holding additional charge as vice principal of police training school in Valpoi.

DySPs Rajendra Desai, Mahesh Gaonkar and Sunita Sawant are transferred to Margao, Ponda and Vasco subdivisions respectively whereas Serafine Dias is posted at Mapusa and Sammy Tawares is given the charge of Crime Branch.
Lawrence D’Souza is the DySP (Panaji )special branch and Edwin Colaco is the additional Panaji MT section DySP.
