Pune: A assistant sub inspector attached to lonikand police station was arrested by the officials of the anti corruption bureau(ACB) for allgedly demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 25000 from the complainant to assist him in getting his bail and going lenient in an assault case. The accuses is been identified as
Ramesh Dokale(53). As per information shared by ACB Superintendent Sandip Diwan , the complainant was involved in an assault case and a cross complaint was lodged at Lonikand police station in the case. Dokale had assured of bail to the complainant and so had asked for the bribe. A trap was laid to nab Dokale by ACB and Dokale was nabbed red handed while accepting the bribe at a tea stall near Lonikand police station.
