ACTIVISTS MARCH TO CM’s HOUSE DEMANDING HIS RESIGNATION

Nearly a hundred protesters, including Congress leaders, under the banner of ‘People’s March For Restoration of Governance’, marched to Goa CM’s private residence in Dona Paula on Tuesday evening. However, the police managed to stop the protesters a few metres away from the CM’s residence.

The protesters have asked Parrikar to resign as Chief Minister within two days, failing which they have warned a state-wide agitation.  

Congress leaders, including the party’s Goa unit chief Girish Chodankar, Leader of Opposition Chandrakant Kavlekar, MLAs Digambar Kamat, Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, Antonio Fernandes, Francis Silveira also took part in the march.
