Union Minister Suresh Prabhu has stated that government is planning for ‘Agricultural Export Policy’ for Goan farmers.

Prabhu said that this will boost the business of Goan farmers. Prabhu has also stated that Goa can be an ideal logistics hub.

“We are creating an integrated logistic plan for India, and in that plan, we are looking Goa as an ideal logistic hub. Goa is very strategically located, the state has a port and huge upgradation will happen through logistics. Logistics has a huge capacity to decrease cost, increase speed and also generate income,” Prabhu said adding that “the agriculture export policy will also help Goan farmers tremendously as their produce will be exported globally.”

He was speaking at the inaugural function of Alcon’s ‘Green Building Centre, Research and Development Centre’ at Kundaim.
