Vasco (Goa): BJP National President Amit Shah has arrived in Goa on his two day long tour during which he will be interacting with various coalition partners, professionals and elected representatives of the party.
Shah landed at Dabolim airport at around 11.30 a.m. during which he was given warm welcome by more than 2,500 party workers who were present there.
Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, BJP Goa Unit President Vinay Tendulkar, BJP’s National Joint General Secretary Santoshji, Union AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik, South Goa member of parliament Narendra Sawaikar, State General Secretary Sadanand Tanavade, State Treasurer Sanjiv Desai were amongst the leaders who were at the airport to receive the party president.
The workers had began lining up at the airport from morning onwards anxiously waiting for the arrival of their leader.
Amitji later drove down to Panaji where he will be laying wrath on Martyrs memorial at Azad Maidan.
Amitji will at the State Guest House at 12.30 p.m. where he will have lunch with the ministers and MLAs in the government including those from coalition partners.
At 4.30 pm, he will address various elected representatives who are part of BJP at Hotel Fidalgo. After that, he would be heading to Hotel Taj Vivanta where he will be addressing professionals including Industrialists, Hotel Owners, Chartered Accountants, Doctors, Builders and others between 6.30-7.30 pm.
On Sunday, July 02, Amit Shahji would be inaugurating South Goa office of the party in Margao at 6th floor, Reliance Magnum, Opposite Kadamba Bus Stand at 4 p.m.
Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, party president Vinay Tendulkar, UNION AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik and South Goa Member of Parliament Narendra Sawaikar would be present along with him for the function.
