The recently concluded Bird Festival of Goa at Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary was a memorable event with an overwhelming participation of people interested in bird watching, as well as students. The three-day event had different activities as well as lectures and workshops conducted by renowned ornithologists, and expert bird photographers. Discussions on interesting legends, myths and superstitions related to different bird species were the highlight of the event. The event also had participation of international bird experts. The participants also had the opportunity to go on the bird watching trail inside the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary with the expert.
