FATORDA
Master Ankit Shetty won February Month CHESS RCC FATORDA U15 OPEN RAPID CHESS TOURNAMENT. The tournament was organised by Fatorda Parents Chess Club, on February 12 and 13 at Chess RCC centre Fatorda- Margao, and was played as per the Swiss league system.
Total six rounds were played and 48 players played in the tournament.
Master Ankit Shetty remained unbeaten throughout the tournament and scored 5.5 points out of possible 6 points to win the championship.
In the last round he outplayed Master Vinayak Saunke in Ruy Lopez Variation.
Prizes were given in two categories- top 5 in open category, 5 prizes for unrated players.
