Goa’s Anura Prabhu Desai has reached the Women’s singles as well as doubles semifinals at the All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament 2017 at Bangalore.

Anura, who is seeded second, beat Shruti Mundada [5] 21-16, 21-17 to reach the semis where she will meet Telengana’s Vrushali G. In Women’s doubles quarters,

Anura partnering Haritha M. H. [3] beat Mahima Aggarwal and Sanjana Santosh [7] 21-17, 8-21, 21-19. They will now be up against top seeds Agna Anto and Sneha Santhilal for a place in the finals.
