ATAL SETHU TO REMAIN OPEN FOR PEDESTRIANS TILL FEB 3

On the occasion of the spectacular inauguration, it was requested by many citizens that the ‘Atal Setu’ (new Mandovi bridge) be kept open for all to visit for a few more days.

Keeping in mind their requests, it has been decided that the Atal Setu will be kept open till Sunday, Feb 3, only from Porvorim side, Opp hotel Majestic as follows:

School delegations accompanied by teachers:  10 am to 12 noon.

General Public: every day from 5 pm to 7 pm and Sunday, Feb 3 from 10 am to 7 pm.

Special KTC shuttle buses will ply to take the visitors to the cable-stayed portion during scheduled timings.

Regular vehicular movement will commence from Monday, Feb 4, 2019.

All desirous are requested to visit the bridge and enjoy the experience on India’s 3rd longest cable-stayed bridge, reads the press note issued by the office of GSIDC Vice Chairman Sidharth Kuncalienker
