PANAJI (Goa): Goa Badminton Association in collaboration with Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) and Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs (DSYA) will be conducting a “Shuttle Time Introduction Workshop” for Physical Education Teachers and B.P. Ed students, on June 17 and 18 (9.30am to 5 pm), at Media Centre, Athletics stadium, Bambolim. The event will be hosted by Evening Badminton Group.

This will be followed by the BWF Shuttle Time programme later during the year. Shuttle Time offers participants access to free resources, training and equipment, which supports the teaching of enjoyable, safe and inclusive badminton activities to children aged 5-15 years old. The workshop educates and trains teachers with limited experience in badminton, to introduce badminton related skills, movements and tactics to pupils through a variety of fun games and activities.
