Goa Bank Employees Association has announced its intent to participate in the strike called by United Forum of Bank Union on May 30 and 31.

The union has been demanding salary hikes since 2017. However, 2% hike assured by Indian Bank Association was not acceptable to UFBU. The bank employees in Goa will be holding a rally at Azad Maidan on May 30.
