Panaji (Goa) Goa’s Rajya Sabha member of parliament Shantaram Naik has demanded that union Civil Aviation ministry should file FIR against BJP president Amit Shah and Goa Chief minister Manohar Parrikar for holding public meeting in Dabolim (Goa) airport premises.

“I take strong objection for the BJP meeting addressed by its president in the premises of Dabolim Airport , area which is in occupation  of Airport Authority of India and recorded in the land survey records of the   the Defence Ministry,” Naik has said in a statement issued here.

Naik has urged upon the Civil Aviation Minister to file an FIR against Amit Shah and the Chief Minister of Goa Manohar Parrikar for Criminal tresspass , mischief and breach of trust under Indian Penal Code.

Shah who arrived on his two-day-long Goa visit had addressed meeting of workers at the airport complex.

Naik said since the land occupied by the Airport Authority  is claimed, though illegally, by the ministry of defence and recorded in survey records in their name,  the Defence Minister Arun  jatley  should invoke Defence of India Act,  apart from the provisions of Indian Penal Code and file another FIR.

The RS member said Parrikar who is the Chief Minister of Goa holding Home portfolio should voluntarily get himself arrested  and sit in the police or judicial custody as the judge may order.

“If BJP goes to this extend today, they will not hesitate to impose martial law in the country as the nature of Amit Shah’s defiance of law considering his previous background   in Gujarat, is sufficient for anybody to draw such extreme conclusions,” he said.
