Calangute (Goa): Ending a long term enemy, Tyron Nazareth (52) was killed by another historysheeter Joseph Sequeira (25) in Calangute market.

Tyron Nazareth, 52,was stabbed by his rival Joseph Sequeira, 25, at Calangute market yesterday at 11.30 a.m, who succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Joseph is on the run since then.

Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi said that Tyron and his friends had assaulted Joseph, two months back, due to which he was jailed and bailed out on June 20 with several conditions imposed on him by local court.

The incident happened yesterday morning when both the historysheeters came face to face at Calangute market. Joseph pulled out his knife and stabbed Tyron several times in front of all, in what seems to be a revenge attack.

Dalvi said Joseph was initially booked for attempt to murder but when hospital informed about the death, he is charged with section 302 of Indian Penal code dealing with murder.

He said both Tyron and Joseph had four cases each filed against them in the past at Calangute police station. “Four different teams have been formed to track down Joseph who is currently on the run,” Dalvi said.
