PRANAB NANDA TO REPLACE GOA DGP MUKTESH CHANDER

PANAJI Senior IPS officer Pranab Nanda has been appointed as new DGP of Goa, Union Ministry of Home Affairs stated in an order. Nanda will replace current Goa DGP Muktesh Chander who will be transferred to Delhi police. Nanda is expected to take charge on February 28. Chander was DGP of Goa since February, 2016.

GMPF’S ‘BANDH’ TOMORROW

PANAJI Goa Mining People’s Front (GMPF) has appealed support from people for ‘bandh’ on February 26.
