Power minister Pandurang Madkaikar suffered a stroke in Mumbai following which he was admitted to a hospital in the city, a senior BJP leader informed today.
Madkaikar (53) was in Mumbai yesterday for a visit when he fell ill. He was admitted to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai last night after he suffered the stroke, Goa health minister Vishwajit Rane said. “We are yet to get more details,” he added.
Madkaikar is the BJP MLA from Cumbharjua constituency.
