CHIMBLE PANCH MEMBER STABBED; OLD GOA POLICE REGISTER CASE

Panaji (Goa) Panch member of Chimble village panchayat Mohan Narve was stabbed by a group of four on the eve of Diwali, while he was coming back from Narkasur procession.

Narve is at present admitted in Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC).

Old Goa Police have registered case against the four under section 326 of IPC. One of the accused is also arrested in the case.

As per the information provided by the police, the incident reportedly took place at 1.00am on Wednesday, when the deceased was written back from Narkasur procession. He was stopped on his way and was stabbed.

“One Adam and his son along with two others assaulted Narve with knife. He was stabbed and left to bleed,” police said adding ‘the attack was out of personal enmity’.
