Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar held a meeting with senior police officials.

According to sources, the Chief Minister directed the officials to take steps for ensuring the safety of commuters and take action on traffic violations. The Chief Minister also took stock of overall law and order scenario in the state.

In a meeting with officials of the education department, Parrikar discussed various matters of school, higher and technical education including vacancies in the department.
