Panaji (Goa) In a bid to speed up the developmental works across the State, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today in- principle sanctioned Rs 25 crore for each of his ruling MLAs to undertake plan and non plan works through public works department (PWD) in their respective constituencies by March, 2018. 

Parrikar this morning held review meeting with the MLAs from the ruling coalition. Separate meeting with the opposition MLAs will be scheduled soon. 

Sources told TNV that following complaints from the MLAs during the meeting, Chief Minister sanctioned Rs 25 crores for each constituency. 

“The first installment of Rs 15 crores will be released by December, this year. The balance Rs 10 crores will be made available before March, 2018. The entire funds has to be spent by March 31, 2018,” sources said.
