Margao (Goa): The Goa Congress and Mahila Congress has mocked the hate statements of Sadhvi Saraswati and has demanded that the Chief Minister speaks out on the issue.
Pratima Coutinho, Spokesperson of Congress, Mahila Congress President Savitri Kavlekar has together condemned the statements of the Sadhvi Saraswati. Pratima Coutinho has gone ahead to challenge the Sadhvi to tell Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Parrikar to first hang his ministers belonging to minority Community for eating beef. “Why are the so called watchdog of the Government and the Minority minister silent on this issue of hate speeches?” questioned Pratima.
“Is this not height of intolerance? Why don’t you fight for child, women and rights of the poor instead of fighting in the name of Cow?” asked Pratima.
“Why is the Chief Minister of Goa silent? You could have removed them from the state immediately after making this statement. You banned Muthalik but not them, is it because of your internal links?” questioned Pratima.
Savitri Kavlekar said that no one can stop anyone from eating food of their choice and we advice the Government to stop interfering in food habits.
