Panaji (Goa) With just three-days left for the Budget Session of the State Legislative Assembly to begin, the Congress Legislative Party (CLP) today held meeting to chalk out strategy for floor management and to corner BJP-led coalition government on its failures on the Floor of the House.
Issues like coal pollution, river nationalization, Mhadei water diversion, ongoing mining crisis, unemployment, social welfare schemes will be raised by the oppositions.
Addressing press conference post meeting, Leader of opposition Chandrakant Kavlekar said that the meeting has decided to expose and corner government on the Floor of the House, pointing to its failures in last one year of power.
“Government will be completing one year in power in March. Assembly will be in session during that time. We will seek explanation from the government on the status of the assurances it made in last one year. We will expose them on all front and on their U-turns,” Kavlekar said.
