Newly inducted BJP leader Dayanand Sopte’s public statement at Mandrem meeting on government jobs is facing allegation from the opposition.

Congress has now planned to file a complaint against Sopte and move to Court. Congress has questioned that what procedure has the government followed while giving the jobs.

“There is a procedure which government has to follow while giving jobs. Posts have to be created and then advertised,” Congress MLA Aleixo Reginald Lourenco said.

“I want to remind the BJP government that Manohar Parrikar had filed a complaint on a similar issue when Congress government was in power in 2012. We are now filing a similar complaint and keeping options open to approach the High Court in this matter,” Lourenco said.
