Desecration of religious structures has been reported once again in Salcete taluka where a Cross, built opposite to St. Cajetan chapel was found damaged by miscreants in Barebhatt, Raia.

The incident occurred late night on Monday and it is also known that some pieces of damaged Cross were  kept inside the chapel.

The chapel committee has registered a complaint with Maina–Curtorim police and further investigation is under process.
