DEMONSTRATIONS BY HINDU JANAJAGRUTI SAMITI AT MAPUSA

MAPUSA (GOA): Severe protest was staged at Hutatma Cowk in Mapusa by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to condemn the recent terrorist strike on Amarnath Yatra, killing eight pilgrims and injuring several others.

Slogans were shouted against terrorism activities. “The attack on Amarnath pilgrims is very unfortunate. To uproot terrorism completely, is the only permanent answer to this problem,” said Jayesh Thali of HJS.

City chief of Mapusa municipality, Rohan Kavlekar, ex city chief of Mapusa municipality, Sandeep Falari, president of Shri Maharudra Devasthan Mapusa, Amar Kavlekar and ex Shiv Sena chief (Goa) Ramesh Naik were also present on the occasion.
