PANAJI (GOA): Kewal Tamhankar will meet Pranav Naik in the Youth (U-21) Boys’ singles final while Janvi Naik Dalal will battle it out with Najida Shiekh for the Under-14 Girls’ title at the 7th Late Ramacanta Dharwatkar Memorial Table Tennis Tournament organised by Panjim Table Tennis Club in collaboration with SAG, at Indoor stadium, Campal.
The Under-14 Boys’ singles final will be contested between Nathan Barua and Aaron Colaco. In Under-12 Girls’, Simran Kubal will meet Shivani Dhamapurkar while Upendra Talawdekar will face Advait Mudras in Under-12 Boys’ final.
In Under-10 Girls’, Leoma Fernandes reached finals where she will meet Sunidhi Sawaikar, while Siddhant Parsekar and Vivek Carvalho will face each other in the Under-10 Boys’ final.
Earlier, the championship was inaugurated by businessman Mahesh Naik in the presence of Mahendra Dharwatkar, son of late R Dharwatkar, Table Tennis Coach Irwin Cordo, Goa TT Association executive member Amey Lawande, and Panjim TT Club officials Selvyn Godinho, Joel Andrade and Sandeep Heble.
