TCP minister Vijai Sardesai on Monday asked Goa Forward Party, spokesperson, Durgadas Kamat to withdraw the defamation case filed against some persons for their attempts to harm Sardesai’s image via social media.

Kamat had filed a complaint after the NGO Savera had filed a complaint against Sardesai when a video showing him making a gesture and using abusive language against a fisherwoman went viral. Sardesai alleged that the video was doctored. 

The cyber cell of the Goa police had summoned three persons in connection with the case.
