The Assailants Basketball Club, Panaji, clinched the 3×3 Basketball Championship in both, men’s category as well as the under-15 boys’ category. 

In the men’s category, Mangesh Pawar, Mandeep Dhadwal, Satpal, Munendra Kumar, Sidney Missier and Brian Colaco played outstanding for Assailants while Ian D’Souza, Saahil Desai, Siddhant Gosavi and Mayur played excellent for Sharada Assailants. 

It was a gruelling full-day tournament for Assailants as they played back-to-back matches.

The final match of Assailants against YMCA started-off with both teams going neck-to-neck but towards the end the Assailants men picked up a comfortable win.

The 3×3 Basketball Championship was the part Tiger Olympics organised by Parvatibai Chowgule College Margao, at Don Bosco Engineering College Basketball court on January 25-26 2019.
