Panaji (Goa): Fifteen wards in Ponda municipal council and 13 in Sanquelim municipal council will go for polls on April 29 and May 6, respectively.
The counting for all 28 wards is scheduled on May 7.
The State Election Commission (SEC) today issued notification announcing election schedule.
The polling for Ponda municipal council will be held on April 29 with the process of filing nomination papers to begin from April 6 and the last dateApril 13, except April 8 being Sunday.
The scrutiny of nominations will take place on April 16 while the last date for withdrawals, if any is April 17.
On the other hand, Sanquelim municipal council will go for polls on May 6 and the process of filing nominations will be held between April 12-20, except April 14 and 15 being public holiday.
The scrutiny of nominations is scheduled on April 21 and the withdrawals on April 25.
