ENTRY MANOHAR PARRIKAR, EXIT SIDDHARTH KUNCOLIENKAR IN PANAJI CONSTITUENCY ON WEDNESDAY

Panaji (Goa): Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has finally made up his mind to contest from his traditional Panaji constituency, which means sitting MLA Siddharth Kuncolienkar will have to put down his papers.

BJP sources have confirmed that Kuncolienkar will resign tomorrow as MLA paving way for the by-election in Panaji constituency. Parrikar who was given a choice between Curchorem and Panaji has finally chosen his traditional constituency.

Parrikar will announce his candidature from Panaji tomorrow in a press conference. The chief minister has been holding series of meetings across the constituency meeting his workers.

Siddharth and Nilesh Cabral had both agreed to resign as MLA to give way for their leader to contest the by-election.

Parrikar who was sworn in on March 14 will have to get elected as member of legislative assembly within six months.
