Alleging negligence in the maintenance of footpaths and roads in Calangute, former Calangute sarpanch Joseph Sequeira filed a police complaint on Friday, July 20. 

“The condition of roads and footpath in Calangute is very bad, and it poses a risk to the lives and safety of residents and tourists who visit the place,” said Sequeira adding, ” authorities concerned are not performing their duties and they are liable for prosecution.”
