In a fatal road accident near Ponda Municipality, wherein a two-wheeler collided with a tanker, Suresh Bhaktha, a residence of Mardol and native of Mangalore has succumbed to injuries.

The exact reason of accident is not known. The deceased Suresh was 51 years A further police investigation is in progress.
