Margao (Goa): “Tiatr should come in the circuit of tourism in Goa and get flourished further. I will pursue this idea with the Tourism department to make it a reality,” said TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai. He was speaking at the felicitation programme organised by ‘Tiatr Academy of Goa’ (TAG) as a part of its 125th Anniversary Celebration.

Several tiatrists from all over Goa were felicitated on the occasion of the 125th year celebration of the Tiatr Academy of Goa.

125th anniversary celebrations committee felicitated 54 tiatrists in the presence of TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai who was the Chief Guest at the celebration and Tiatrist Clara Dias who was the Guest of Honour.

Tiatrist convenor of 125 Tiatr committee, Tomazinho Cardozo and TAG Vice President William Fernandes also graced the function which concluded at Gomant Vidya Niketan hall in Margao.

“Though I am being targeted in tiatrs for joining hands with the BJP government, I am not angry and neither I am in favour of censorship for tiatrs, tiatrists should continue their work” said Vijai.
