Goa Mining People’s Front (GMPF) has appealed support from people for ‘bandh’ on February 26. However, GMPF has clarified that the general public will not be forced to participate in the bandh and schools, pharmacies, private buses and ambulances will not be obstructed.  

GMPF leader Puti Gaonkar further warned BJP of consequences in the upcoming election.
