Panaji (Goa): The new 100-bedded hospital under Employees State Insurance (ESI) scheme for South Goa district to be thrown open by this month end; Minister for Labour Rohan Khaunte announced today.

Khaunte, who visited the site today held a review meeting with the Director, Administration Sabaji Shetye and others in connection with the ongoing work of the ESI Hospital.

Minister announced that he expects to throw open the ESI hospital by this December end which will cater the entire South District.

“Government is working on a time frame to ensure that this Hospital is opened up with all the basic facilities. The work has been reviewed on daily basis during the last two months,” Minister said.

The existing ESI hospital was upgraded in 2014.
