Panaji (Goa): Two young Maharashtra girls were rescued and four pimps were arrested in a prostitution raid by the Crime Branch sleuths during the week hours.
Accused Tanvir Muzawar, aged 37;
Sahid Khan, aged 23 and Riyana Khan, aged 27 years all from Karnataka and Ankit Patel, aged 25 from Gujarat were arrested from an apartment in Dona Paula where they brought the two girls for sex trade.
Interestingly, the location is close to a starred resort at Dona Paula.
The girls have been lodged at Protective Home whereas the accused, whose roles are being given probed for other such offenses, will be produced before local court for remand.
