Panaji (Goa): Daylight dacoity in Indian Overseas Bank at Verla Canca once again shows  Law & Order in the State has collapsed, Criminals are least afraid of Police Department and failure of Goa Government to control crimes stated Shiv Sena Spokesperson Jitesh Kamat.

Shiv Sena has been always taking up this issue of Law & Order failure in the state but Government has taken the safety of the people of Goa for granted. Shiv Sena has given a memorandum to IGP some few months back to carry out the thorough drive for tenant verification so that such type of history-sheeters hiding out in Goa could have been easily Spotted and such crimes could have been avoided. But as usual, a small drive was taken up by Goa Police. Till date Government hasn’t taken any serious steps towards tenant verification.  Shiv Sena salutes to the bravery of all those who grabbed the dacoit endangering their lives.
