Calangute (Goa)  Acting on the information provided by SP North Chandan Choudhary the Calangute police including PI Jivba Dalvi and staff have successfully arrested Mr. Ravinder Kumar Singh, age 37 yrs, R/o Hauz Khas, New Delhi who is required by Rajasthan police.

As per PI Jivba Dalvi accused person was absconding since 07/02/2018 in crime no:59/2018 U/s 323, 341, 387 R/w 34 IPC registered in Vigyan Nagar Police Station, Rajasthan since last month and was on a running  spree. All efforts made by the Rajasthan police went in vain as accused person had misguided them and landed in Goa last week.

Accused along with his accomplices had committed a crime of extortion in Kota, Rajasthan.

Further today police based on the photographs received traced the accused person in a hotel at Candolim. Further as accused had gone out PI Dalvi and his staff waited outside and later nabbed him while he was returning. 

The team of Rajasthan police is arriving  tonight to take the custody of the accused. Accused person has been remanded to judicial custody.
