Calangute (Goa):  Calangute police have arrested one Rahul Rajnarayan Shah, age-21 yrs, N/o Dibrughad, Charlane, Assam for illegal possession of narcotics substance Ganja in a narcotic raid conducted on 30/10/2017. PI Jivba Dalvi informed that information was received about the accused person moving around with drugs for selling purpose at Nr. Bandodkar statue, Calangute. Accordingly, a team was formed and a narcotic was conducted. During the raid narcotic substance Ganja weighing 150 grams and worth Rs. 15, 000/- in the international market was seized from the accused person. The raid went on from 08;30 pm to 11:00 pm late night. The accused person was placed under arrest under section 20(b)(ii)(A) of NDPS Act. The raiding team consisted of  PI Jivba Dalvi , PSI Girish Padloskar, police constables dinesh morajkar, govind shirodkar and other staff.
