GOA: COMPLAINT AGAINST TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT FOR DUMPING GARBAGE

Panaji (Goa) Complaint to be filed against the department of transport for dumping garbage along the road said, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar announced today following the news how the department has dumped important public documents, which got burnt during the fire incident at RTO office, along roadside.

 “I am going to file a complaint against the department for dumping the garbage,” Parrikar said.  

In what can be the case of criminal carelessness, the important documents which were gutted in the fire at Kadamba bus stand in Panaji setting on blaze office of Transport Department were found strewn at the roadside.

The pictures of these papers which has gone viral reveal that they were thrown on Old Goa by-pass, while some of these documents could have been salvaged.

The department then issued clarification said that it was the labourers who had disposed of the burnt papers at the side of the road unknowingly and the same has been cleared from the side of the road.

The department had said that all the records are safe in a computerized system, and only the manual records have been burnt and the same has been disposed of.
