Panaji (Goa) Bharatiya Janata party today said that the Congress should not dream of forming government in Goa as they have lost an opportunity to do so in the past.
BJP Goa Unit President Vinay Tendulkar said that the Congress has been losing all across the country in most of the States and also should not dream of forming government in Goa in future.
“Congress had an opportunity to form the government in Goa but they could not grab it and instead reduced their strength in the House from 16 to 15,” Tendulkar said referring to the scenario post-2017 Goa Assembly Poll.
The BJP leader was talking to reporters during one day token hunger strike observed by the party condemning the frequent disruption of the Parliament by the opposition parties. Union AYUSH minister Shripad Naik also joined the leaders in their strike.
He said that BJP-led government is doing very well in the State as in his absence chief minister Manohar Parrikar has appointed three member Cabinet Advisory Committee.
“Chief minister will also return to the state as soon as possible and hold the reigns back with him,” Tendulkar said.
Referring to the victories of the party in recently held elections, Tendulkar said that BJP has managed to win even North Eastern states, some of whom were won in alliance with other parties.
