GOA: CONSENT TO OPERATE TO 21 MINES; GSPCB DECIDES

Panaji (Goa): The Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) today decided to grant conditional Consent to Operate under Air Act and Water Act to 21 iron ore mining leases for a period till March 2018.

The decision was taken during the 131st meeting of the Board.

The 21 mining leases belongs to M/s Panduronga Timblo Industires, Sesa Resources Ltd, Chowgule and Company Pvt Ltd, Vedanta Ltd, M/s Haider Kassim Khan, M/s Eyestar Finance & Leasing Pvt Ltd, M/s Timblo Pvt Ltd, M/s RS Shetye, M/s Kunda Gharse, M/s Sociedade Timblo Irmaos Limitada, M/s VG Quenim, M/s Rajesh Timblo, M/s Polo Dongor Iron ore mines, M/s MS Talaulikar & Sons and M/s Orasso Dongor Iron ore mines.
