Panaji (Goa) The day today is going to be a crucial one for the political masters in Goa with Chief minister Manohar Parrikar hospitalized. The day will mark various meetings, assembly session, Governor’s address and other activities.

BJP is scheduled to meet in Panaji at 10.30 a.m. The party will take stock of the situation. Party leader Michael Lobo said that even in absence of Parrikar, the leader of legislature wing will remain same. Aldona MLA Glen Ticlo is a whip of the party.

At 11.30 a.m. Governor Mridula Sinha will be addressing the Session. After her speech, Business Advisory Committee is going to meet to decide on curtailing the session. The budget will be preponed and it will be tabled on the floor of the House by MGP leader Sudin Dhavalikar.

Congress is divided over the issue of curtailing the assembly. While Leader of Opposition Chandrakant Kavlekar is okay with the curtailing, its legislator Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco has said the assembly cannot stop for the sake of one man.
