Panaji (Goa): Police have kept adequate deployment around the theatres and multiplexes which would be screening Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie ‘Padmavaat’ today.

“We have kept a strict watch and strong police presence around the theatres or multiplexes which are screening Padmavat movie. No law and order situation would be tolerated. There are adequate arrangements in place,” Goa’s Director General of Police Muktesh Chandar said.

“Till now, there are signs of any protests or demonstrations against the movie but adequate deployments have been maintained,” he added.

Chandar said that some of the theatre owners had called him informing that they would be screening the movie.
