GOA: GU ENGINEER CAUGHT RED HANDED WHILE ACCEPTING BRIBE

The Anti-Corruption Branch of Goa Police caught Goa University executive engineer Amit Shrivastava while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 at Dona Paula. Shrivastava had demanded the bribe from the owner of Panorama Enterprises, who had bagged the contract for housekeeping of Goa University complex buildings in July last year.

The complaint was lodged by Gopi Peket with the ACB stating that Hema Sundar Reddy of Panorama Enterprises had secured the tender for housekeeping work of buildings within Goa University campus, for an amount around Rs 50 lakh per annum, Priyanka Kashyap, SP for ACB, said.
